Welcome to The Holistic Coach.  My name is Edie Summers. 

I am an holistic wellness coach.  What is wellness coaching? It is the facilitation of peak physical, mental, emotional, social,and spiritual health. 

 

In other words, I coach you on how to heal and empower yourself.*

 

Wellness is not simply the absence of disease.  Wellness is a state of supreme health on all four levels of being, plus the health of your extended relationships with others and the world in general.  Wellness coaching exists to walk you through the obstacles you perceive along the way toward your optimum state of being.  I offer one more dimension to wellness coaching by adding in the holistic element.  We are spiritual beings.  If life is approached from the highest level, you will achieve the highest level of being. 

 

Coaching* is about inspiration, motivation, and reaching the maximum potential of which we are truly capable. Coaching is about building that bridge between a dream and the final result. So many of us have a very clear idea of what we wish our lives could be but encounter physical, mental, emotional, social, or spiritual road blocks that keep us from actualizing our deepest desires.  A coach is your best ally, biggest supporter, and a source of accountability.  A coach doesn't point to a mountain and tell you the best way to climb it.  They climb it with you.  The best athletes in the world use coaches to take their performance to the next level.  They know they can reach their goals with guidance, support, and someone to hold them accountable.   Don't you wish that for yourself as well? 

  

  

 

 

My intention is to help you achieve vital health and your dreams, whatever it takes. Because the truth is, you already have the power inside of you. But sometimes we need help along the way to remember that we are truly powerful. This is where I come in. My greatest gifts are my intuition, my knowledge of holistic health, and the ability to inspire others.  

 

The sky is only the beginning, and human potential is far, far greater than most of us even dare dream.  Dare to dream.  Be even more daring, and put your dreams into action and you can accomplish anything you want and truly live the life you desire.

I have an extensive background in alternative health & healing, diet & exercise, holistic wellness & nutrition consulting, as well as herbs, superfoods, and spiritual law

 

 

I attend seminars and continue to study all types of healing modalites and coaching techniques. Inspiring and motivating others is what inspires me!  It is my honor to help you today.

I also offer corporate coaching, WHP, and education/emotional empowerment for chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and other chronic conditions.*   

 

I give natural food store tours and coach you on diet and exercise programs. I will assist you in whichever way you need to get and stay on a healthy course of living.

What is food psychology?

 

Food psychology is a new field of thought that believes how we eat and why we eat is as important as what we eat.  It addresses spiritual nutrition, body image, food obsession, stress response, and the very important but often repressed pleasure principle of eating.  In food psychology there is no "good" or "bad" food.  Nutrition is still important of course, but eating for pleasure is just as important. 

 

Food psychology transforms the way we look at and feel about food as a now joyous, natural, guilt-free and life-affirming part of our lives. 

  
 
 
  
 

What is Wellness Coaching?

Wellness coaching is a combination of life

coaching, fitness coaching, organic living, corporate wellness, sound nutrition, stress and energy management.  Someone can be very fit but still unwell, if they have high levels of stress and suffer from insomnia.   A wellness coach can fill in the gaps.  I offer one more dimension to wellness coaching by adding in the holistic element.  We are spiritual beings.  If life is approached from the highest level, you will achieve the highest level of being. 

 

Wellness coaching helps clients to:

A fitness coach designs a fitness plan based on your individual needs, personality, and lifestyle:

-We work you through any resistances

 

-I help you find the inspiration and reason you wish to exercise and get and/or stay fit: do it for YOU!
