What is food psychology?
Food psychology is a new field of thought that believes how we eat and why we eat is as important as what we eat. It addresses spiritual nutrition, body image, food obsession, stress response, and the very important but often repressed pleasure principle of eating. In food psychology there is no "good" or "bad" food. Nutrition is still important of course, but eating for pleasure is just as important.
Food psychology transforms the way we look at and feel about food as a now joyous, natural, guilt-free and life-affirming part of our lives.
What is Wellness Coaching?
Wellness coaching is a combination of life
coaching, fitness coaching, organic living, corporate wellness, sound nutrition, stress and energy management. Someone can be very fit but still unwell, if they have high levels of stress and suffer from insomnia. A wellness coach can fill in the gaps. I offer one more dimension to wellness coaching by adding in the holistic element. We are spiritual beings. If life is approached from the highest level, you will achieve the highest level of being.
Wellness coaching helps clients to:

- reduce stress
- assess health concerns
- prepare for life changing events like surgery
- live in the present moment -- make conscious choices for health, success, & happiness

A fitness coach designs a fitness plan based on your individual needs, personality, and lifestyle:

-I help you to stay on track & stay motivated
-We work you through any resistances
-I help you find the inspiration and reason you wish to exercise and get and/or stay fit: do it for YOU!
